Harry Brewster

Harry BrewsterMassage Therapist

Like branches that grow from a tree massage has grown to become a new branch to my tree of service to others. A branch that’s a beautiful extension to my personal training that began in 1993. What’s so amazing for me is the way the study of massage has opened new door ways for me to expand my services for clients.

The human body never ceases to amaze me with so many systems to tap into that bring about its healing ability. And how many of the systems of healing from long ago are resurfacing now with more and more, long over do support from modern medicine.

It’s a very exciting time to be on this path and I’m so glad I chose massage therapy as a modality of care.

Along with my license for massage therapy I also have certifications in Neuromuscular  therapy,  Reflexology, and Swedish massage.

But the most pleasant surprise has been the use of hot stones. They just fit like a glove with me and become my specialty. I love working with them and seeing the positive reactions from those that experience one of my sessions using hot stone massage.

From very young  I ran jumped and played outside like most children and this desire to run,  jump and play still runs in my veins to this day. That was the motivation to become a personal trainer in 93, to share my love of Fitness with others. I ran some track in school and took up boxing which I fell in love with and competed in throughout the 80’s. So that naturally became part of my skills to share as a means to become and stay fit.

I became a vegetarian at a young age in the 70’s guided by other family members my mother and sister, and some close friends. It’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life and I so thankful for having the guidance. And again this life style plays an important role in my service to others as I am an example of the benefits of healthy eating and life style.

In closing I’m shore not to leave out that my inner focus and quest to learn who I am from the inside out began in the 70’s too after the question was asked openly who are we really? And the answer has been an ever evolving one that leads one beeper and beeper into one’s own self discovery!
